
The learning management system (LMS) at UNT may be used for course activities and communication in online, blended or traditional face-to-face courses. Policies for governing the use of Canvas can be found on our policies page. Faculty support and administration for Canvas and integrated technologies is provided by the Enterprise Systems Learning Management Support Team. Student support is provided by the UNT Helpdesk.
Canvas Enhanced Rubrics: Canvas has updated the rubric tool to allow instructors to import and download their rubrics as well as the ability to bulk download the rubric scores from the gradebook.
TurnItIn Instructor Feedback Studio Enhancements: Feedback Studio has been updated for instructors to include streamlined assignment workflows, a unified inbox, enhanced Similarity Report, and an upgraded feedback and grading experience.
TurnItIn new assignment option: Instructors will now see an option to use either the original classic assignment or the new standard assignment. The new version of the standard assignment includes improvements to enhance flexibility for instructors and increase the visibility into academic integrity indicators. New features include:
TurnItIn AI Writing Bypass Detection: It aims to help educators identify potential AI misconduct and advance student learning by providing updated data and insights on the use of AI in student submissions.This capability is an extension of our AI writing detection capabilities and will become available from August 19 to all customers who have AI writing detection enabled on their accounts.
